A returning customer on a three-week slot through the season. Long enough between cuts that the grass has its growth on, short enough that nothing gets out of hand.
This is the rhythm spring wants. Visit every three weeks and you're always taking a manageable amount off the top — the mower runs cleanly, the finish is sharp, and there's no risk of scalping or stress. Leave it longer and you're in rescue-territory: removing more than a third of the blade in one pass stresses the grass and leaves a pale, patchy result.
What we did
Full mow with stripe finish, edges trimmed and tidied. The back lawn was coming along well — good colour and density for mid-May. Done in time for a quiet Saturday afternoon.
What a three-week slot looks like
For most lawns in East Kent, a three-week cycle is the practical minimum through spring and early summer. We schedule the visits in advance, so you don't need to call us when it's getting long — we just turn up. If we're running ahead or behind by a few days due to weather, we'll let you know.
