What we collect
When you contact us, by phone, text, email or via the contact form, we collect only what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the town or street you’re in, and whatever you tell us about the job.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit our site and which pages they find useful. This helps us make the site better. We use Google’s Consent Mode v2, which means:
- No analytics cookies are set until you choose “Accept” on the banner at the bottom of the page.
- If you choose “Reject” (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are stored on your device.
- If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies starting with
_gaand_ga_*to tell repeat visits from new ones. IP addresses are anonymised.
We never pass Google Analytics any information that identifies you personally, no name, email or phone number. You can clear your choice at any time by clearing your site data in your browser, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Apart from analytics, the site logs basic request information (standard server logs) for security purposes only.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit.
- To remember you’re a regular customer when you book again.
- To invoice you if a job has been completed.
We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it with marketing companies, and we don’t put you on any mailing list.
How long we keep it
We keep job records for as long as needed to manage the work and meet HMRC record-keeping requirements (usually up to six years). After that, records are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Drop us an email at sandwichlawnmowing@gmail.com and we’ll sort it.
Third-party links
Our website occasionally links to external sites (for example, South East Water on our summer watering guide). Those sites have their own privacy policies and we’re not responsible for them.
